A God fearing single mother of five wonderful children, and though my miniature poodle Jasper lives with my eldest son, he’s still part of the family. Currently, I serve as the Guardian Advocate Program Manager with the Mental Health Association of Central Florida, where I combine my faith and passion for advocacy to support those who need a voice. Inspired by my mother’s battle with substance and alcohol abuse, I’m pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to further my ability to help others.
I chose ATI because of the supportive and welcoming experience I had with Lulu, whose kindness confirmed this was the right school for me. The online format has allowed me to balance family, work, and education while preparing for my future goals. My vision is to open a recovery home that offers counseling, life skills, and re-entry support, while also empowering individuals through business guidance, financial literacy, and, for those who desire it, faith-based learning. Advocacy is more than my career; it’s my calling.
