Drug and Alcohol Counselor Certificate Program

The Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certificate Program consists of 7 modules of instruction, plus 45 hours of supervised practicum and minimum of 255 hours of on-site clinical instruction designed around your schedule. Our Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certificate Program is specifically designed to meet the educational requirements for drug counselor certification. Each course is focused on required content as specified by the 12 Core functions as required by state regulations and International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC & RC) standards.


An entry-level credential for people who want to combine their life and recovery experience with education to increase their income and enhance their career path.

Case Management Certification

An intermediate-level credential for people who wish to provide case management services to adults or children.

Certified Behavioral Health Technician

An entry-level credential for people who providing support services to adults or children who are receiving substance use disorder or mental health services in residential programs, in-patient settings or community based programs.

Certified Recovery Residence Administrator

This credential is for people responsible for the overall management of a recovery residence or sober living house, plus supervision of residents and paid or volunteer staff.

BreakFree Interventionist

Breakfree Intervention skills training equips participants to understand the history and methods of various intervention models in comparison to Brad Lamm’s proprietary invitation to change, paired with long-term family recovery. Through this online program, participants learn how to intervene using this cutting-edge approach to initiating family recovery.

Fully Online Courses

We offer a number of certifications for substance use disorder professionals, behavioral health professionals and licensed practitioners such as social workers, professional counselors and psychologists.
