Currently I work at an inpatient rehab center in South Lake Tahoe, California, I specialize in continuing care and group counseling. My hobbies include hiking, reading, and getting in touch with nature. I love being outside, taking in fresh air, and exploring the world around us. I’m passionate about helping people attain sobriety and wellness. I love art, music, and always appreciate any form of human self-expression.
Before deciding to pursue a career in drug and alcohol counseling, I attended Santa Barbara city college, with a focus on psychology. Growing up I always knew I wanted to help people, I just didn’t know what it would look like. Recovery became something important to me through my own battles, as well as witnessing loved ones struggle with addiction. ATI was recommended to me by the other staff at Elevate Addiction Services, where I am currently employed. Being able to take these classes online has made it very accessible to me to continue my education. With a full time job in this field, I am super pleased with the way courses are set up, leaving me enough time for work, school, and my personal life. In the future I hope to continue expanding my role in drug and alcohol counseling, continue to learn, and help others achieve sobriety. ATI has equipped me with the knowledge I need to do so!
