We are passionate about our mission to provide the support, training and resources to help you and your clients succeed. We love hearing and sharing the “whys” of those who are chasing their dreams of helping make the world a better place. Our students choose to pursue an education in the behavioral healthcare field for various reasons, and we’re proud to be a part of their journeys toward making a difference. Each month we feature a student who is on the path to truly making an impact on the lives of others.

Our Student of the Month, Ashley Garner, shares her experience with ATI:

Ashley Garner

While I’m taking classes at ATI, I work two jobs. One as an Administrative Coordinator at Gardens of Hope, a local non-profit, and the other as a therapist intern at Creative Counseling Solutions. When I’m not juggling work, I’m taking care of our one-year-old, Isla June, or we’re out at a concert with my husband. We also enjoy reading, kayaking, and hiking together.

I started with a BS in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and I’m currently wrapping up my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. Addiction counseling found me, and I’ve been hooked ever since. ATI was my go-to for getting my CADCII certification, which is helping me gear up for my future as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Looking ahead, I’m aiming for my CADC II and LPC, and I’m excited to offer mentorship and supervision to budding counselors. My ultimate goal is to make a real impact in people’s lives by helping them reach their full potential.
