Andrea Singer-Lepow, has more than 25 years of experience in education and behavioral mental health settings. She has been the Administrator for a number of psychiatric/substance abuse treatment facilities. She is knowledgeable in JCAHO, Medicare and Medicaid policies and procedures. She’s written policy and procedure manuals, interviewed and screened patients for appropriateness, hired and created job descriptions and performance reviews, and is responsible for identifying the need for inpatient/outpatient precertification, authorization and continued stay(s), She is responsible for communicating with insurance carriers, payers, clients, facilities and management at all levels to achieve maximum reimbursement and service days.
She has taught counseling and substance abuse programs at the college level to students working toward licensure.
Andrea has an MBA in Health Care Management, Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. She is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, an Advanced Addictions Counselor and a Board-Certified Interventionist. She also has her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and is an Adjunct Educator with Houston Community College.
