Kimberly Hosey has an A.A. degree from East Mississippi Community College and a B.A. degree from the University of New Orleans. She earned her MA degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Argosy University in Atlanta. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the Addiction Training Institute having worked in the field of addiction and mental health for over 25 years. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. She is also a Master Addiction Counselor, a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, a Certified Clinical Supervisor, a Certified Addiction Specialist, a Certified Anger Management Specialist, and a Medication Assisted Treatment Clinician. Kimberly has extensive training in substance abuse and mental health treatment, medication assisted therapy, and CARF accreditation. In 2015, she was awarded the ADACB-GA, Jane Furtner Award of Excellence for Clinical Competency. Over her career, Kimberly has worked as a Therapist, a Program Director, a Clinical Director, a Group Leader, a Sexual Assault Response Team Coordinator, and a Director of Operations. She previously provided clinical evaluations for the State of GA and taught DUI School for many years. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, the beach, and her love for animals. She is currently employed as the Executive Director of two Family Behavioral Health Care Facilities in the cities of Sandy Springs and Johns Creek, GA.
