We are passionate about our mission to provide the support, training and resources to help you and your clients succeed. We love hearing and sharing the “whys” of those who are chasing their dreams of helping make the world a better place. Our students choose to pursue an education in the behavioral healthcare field for various reasons, and we’re proud to be a part of their journeys toward making a difference. Each month we feature a student who is on the path to truly making an impact on the lives of others.
Our Student of the Month, Antuanette Nobles, shares her experience with ATI:
I hold multiple roles as an Intensive Outpatient Program Coordinator, Prevention Educator, Parenting Class Instructor, and Healthcare Navigator. I earned my Bachelor’s in Sociology from Valdosta State University, as well as a Master’s in Human Services from the University of Arizona Global Campus. At the moment, I’m pursuing a Master’s in Psychology at Grand Canyon University. On top of all that, I’m working toward certification as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor to better serve my community.
As a mother of two boys, ages 10 and 5, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my kids play sports, reading novels, and doing makeup. Since starting at ATI, it’s become so much easier to balance my education, career, and family. Online courses have been allowing me to manage my busy schedule, while continuing towards my ambition of becoming a counselor.
Once I’m certified as a counselor, my next goal is to become a Licensed Professional Counselor and focus on helping children and adolescents. Guiding them to overcome their challenges, particularly related to substance misuse, is incredibly rewarding. I love that I’m the support I wish I had growing up.
