As a professional counselor who’s has been working in addictions for a little over a decade, I have a passion for people that are dealing with this disorder. In my full time practice I work a case load as well as oversee operations and compliance as the program director. I graduated from liberty university with master’s degrees with an MA in human services marriage and family counseling and an MA in professional counseling. My Doctorate is in Community Care and Counseling with a cognate in pastoral counseling. My goal in my education was to develop an extensive understanding of a holistic approach to therapy which is how I practice and how I strive to teach. My dissertation is titled “The impact of shame on medication assisted therapy treatment outcomes for individuals with sever opiate use disorder” this is where my passion is helping people gather the tools to build effective recovery. On a personal note, I love hanging out with my wife and 2 kids, gaming, hiking, camping, and yard work.
